Haiti 155 was founded by brothers’ Lionel and Constant Bernard who were born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti in the 1960’s and raised in the U.S. The number 155 pays homage to the home in Haiti that they grew up in. They’ve been working in Haiti since the 1980’s and Haiti 155 was borne out of the increased need for the people of Haiti to find relief after the earthquake in 2010.

Our Mission
Haiti 155 is a New York based not for profit organization committed to creating a permanent bridge of friendship between the people of the United States and the children of Haiti. Through this bond, we aim to develop long lasting social and economic change. Our goal is to provide basic life skills, tools and facilities in the areas of social education and health care. In addition, our peer and adult mentoring programs will enable Haitians of all ages to better cope with the devastating effects of day to day life.
